A heavy, reflective stillness settles over your fiery Leo spirit as the cosmic tide pulls inward. With Mars and Jupiter both retrograde in your own sign, there is a powerful invitation to reclaim your personal dignity and pride, not through outward conquest, but through internal refinement. This is a moment for the "Leo-type" to examine the magnetism of their presence and ensure it is grounded in ethical strength rather than mere ego. In your professional life, the Sun at 23° Libra suggests a need for diplomatic balance, yet with the Moon in Capricorn, your emotional drive is leaning toward structure and discipline. Use this tension to organize your ambitions. In love, Venus and Mercury in Scorpio create a deep, piercing intensity; avoid the urge to control and instead use this magnetism to foster genuine intimacy. Remember that astrology is a science of self-knowledge, demonstrating that your unique sphere of influence is a tool for evolution. The retrograde motion of Saturn in Aries warns against forcing progress; instead, view these delays as necessary periods for the soul to catch up with the body. By tracing these transits over your radix, you can see that the current friction is not a barrier, but a mirror reflecting where you have been overly proud or perhaps too hesitant. As you navigate this internal landscape, ask yourself: In which area of my life am I choosing the appearance of strength over the actual practice of inner growth?
As to the technics, confine for the present to the calculations of the birth horoscope (p. 92) and those of the zodiacal progressions of Sun, Moon and Planets, (p. 155.) Moreover the daily course of the planets should be traced by their transits (p. 161) over the radix positions of the planets. The same holds good for the eclipses (p. 164) which fall on these radix positions.
I know one who shows the pure Leo-type, though he has Scorpio as ascendant and the Sun in Gemini. But the Moon is in Leo, on the cusp of the 10th house (M.C.). The glance only is purely that of Scorpio and the dignity and pride of Leo are accompanied by the magnetism of the Scorpio-type. The Sun in the Different other Houses 1). The Sun in 2nd, success in financial affairs, but if the Sun is ill aspected, prodigal. When strongly afflicted, always judge the opposite; ill-success in this case.
The Sun-directions are often brought to action by a suitable Moon-direction and the Moon-directions usually by a Lunation, or by a conformable Moon-aspect by transit. The latter is indicated through the day-horoscope, which is dealt with on p. 160. Example to illustrate the Planetary Influences. The following, taken from Sepharial and abbreviated, shows distinctly, how in everything the Cosmic law is working.
in square to that place. The Moon has periods of 4, 2, 1 and 1 1/2 yrs, very short periods. Especially important are those of Saturn, Jupiter and Mars, in relation to the place of the Sun at birth. The calculation is very simple. If we take e.g. in our horoscope of p. 144, Jupiter (17° 39' in ♉) and direct it to the ☉ (24° 49' ♈). We see that Jupiter forms a trine aspect to the Sun, the trine is full but for 7° 10'.
This Week
A heavy, reflective stillness settles over your fiery Leo spirit as the cosmos invites you to turn your gaze inward. With Mars and Jupiter both retrograde in your own sign of Leo, there is a powerful call to revisit your sense of dignity and pride. Rather than pushing forward with your usual radiance, you are being asked to refine your internal fire. This is not a time for external conquest, but for the ethical application of your will. When Mars retreats, the energy shifts from action to evaluation; it is an opportunity to ensure your ambitions are aligned with your highest self, transforming potential frustration into a catalyst for personal growth. In your professional life, the Sun at 24° Libra suggests a need for balance and diplomacy. While you naturally possess the Leo-type's inherent nobility, the current planetary landscape encourages you to integrate the magnetism and depth of the Scorpio placements—specifically Mercury at 18° and Venus at 4° Scorpio. In your career, this manifests as a shift from seeking visibility to seeking truth. Use this intensity to investigate the hidden dynamics of your workplace, applying a quiet, strategic wisdom rather than an overt display of authority. Your heart is similarly invited into deeper waters. With Venus in Scorpio, love is not about the surface-level admiration you often enjoy, but about an honest, perhaps challenging, intimacy. This is a moment to examine the shadows of your attachments. As the Moon moves through Capricorn at 14°, you may feel a tension between your need for emotional expression and a sudden, stern demand for discipline and structure. Embrace this contrast; it is through the friction of these opposing forces that you develop a more resilient character. Remember that astrology reveals your sphere of influence in symbols, guiding you toward a more broadminded understanding of your own nature and the diverse paths of others. By observing these transits not as fate, but as mirrors, you reclaim your agency. As you navigate this period of retrograde introspection, ask yourself: In which areas of my life have I been relying on pride to mask a vulnerability, and how can I transform that vulnerability into a source of genuine strength?

We had better, for the present keep to the progressive aspects of ☉, ☽ and planets only and leave all other directions out of consideration, except the transits of ♃, ♄, ♅ and ♆. We have to calculate how long after birth according to Jupiter's period this aspect is full. Jupiter moves through the complete circle of 360° periodically in 12 years, so in order to cover 1° it wants 12 * 365 = 12 days, that is for 7° 10', 84 - 2 = 86 days. Thus the trine aspect is full 86 days after birth (May 16th
